1950s Full Skirt Yellow Cotton Dress Rockabilly Sz Sm 4 XS 2

Great everyday or special-occasion dress, depending on accessories. Has an unusual construction: Along the entire body of the dress, there were narrow folds made on the fabric back, then stitched every 1/2" or so to give, on the front, the illusion of separately seamed "ribbons" of fabric. It's made of a medium-weight, plain-weave cotton and has a side metal zipper. The color is a light mustard yellow, not lemon yellow, and is slightly more muted than shown (the studio lights brighten it a little more than it really is).Belt loops intact, but no belt was with the dress. The narrow floral belt is included; the red one is not. There's the remnant of a cloth tag at the neckline, so this was commercially made, but no identifying marks or tags remain. Shown in photos both with and without a full crinoline. SIZE: Estimated "best fit" for a 2 or 4. Shown on a size 0 - 2 manni and was a little roomy through the bust. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. Has been freshly laundered. There are two tiny red spots on the front of the skirt that wouldn't photograph. Not noticeable in the folds of the dress.
