This vintage sweater is in great condition. The fur collar is silky soft and a deep brown color. There are faux pearl buttons down the front and on the sleeves. Very light wear. No stains or pulls. The material is Orlon, the original name for acrylic. purpleraiment @txmermaid Hi! I have no way to verify if this is real fur, as there is no tag saying so. It seems to me that whoever owned this sweater might have put the fur on themselves as it looks hand sewn on. but due to his age, it's difficult for me to verify. however, if it is not real fur it has me totally fooled! It is fabulously soft shiny and absolutely luxurious. I believe that it is real fur. thanks for your question.

sherrykershaw I have the same sweather in my closet I was Curious so i looked it up on here ,i was Surprised to see one just like it ,it was my mothers god rest her soul.she just passed at 90 ,so yes i would say in deed vintage
