1950's Gotham Pink Ballet Dress, Nightgown, Negligee, Slip, Floral Lace - 34

Vtg. 50's Gotham Pink Embroidered Slip, Ballet Style Dress , Nightgown, or Negligee with Floral Lace - Sz 34/ S A lovely delicate petal pink ultra feminine midcentury nightgown, night dress  or slip - size 34 bust. Small in letter sizing.  Excellent condition, freshly laundered, ready to wear. Would make a lovely gift!  Pull over the head style, has crossed shoulder straps, lace trim, embroidered midriff, sheer decorative hem, piping.  Beautifully made, all finished seams.  Cups are lined with a sheer pink layer on top of the main fabric which I would categorize as a nylon sateen.  None of this gown is see through so you could wear it as a summer dress.  I have seen girls wearing these vintage nightgowns in summer as party dresses with a lace or crocheted shawl ... a very pretty look!  Machine or hand wash cold. Can go in dryer on low or hang to dry.  Sweet and lovely. So soft & pretty - like a rose petal !  Or a Ballet Costume! Length is just below the knee on woman 5'6" tall as an example... Length from shoulder to hem is 38", from waist to hem edge is 24"  Beautiful fabric. Beautiful condition. Beautiful Design.  Would be an ideal garment for boudoir or pinup photography.  Can be worn as a nightgown, a dress, or a slip
