Ardee Sportswear California 1950s Quilted Velvet Circle Skirt A sumptuous, cozy, vibrant skirt from the 50s. With a side zip, and extra side button (that I added). Perfect for Christmastime! Probably best for XXS-S size. No fabric tag that I could find, but the outer fabric is, I believe, velvet. And the inner lining is probably a muslin or cotton blend. Measurements are approximate and taken laid flat. The waist can also be buttoned more tightly (closer to 10-11” laid flat). ishitagupta @fox_whale hi! What’s the most the waist can accommodate comfortably?

fox_whale @ishitagupta Hello! When I was wearing the skirt in the modeling photos, I had about a 27” waist. Nowadays, I’m at a 29” waist and I found the skirt to be too tight for me. The button can be adjusted slightly to accommodate different waists, but I’d probably recommend nothing over a 28.5” waist, just for comfort? I hope that helps!

ishitagupta @fox_whale oh that’s very helpful - thank you for the detailed answer! I wish most people would include personal fit details like you just did! I was worried it was a 24” waist coz in the photo it looked like the waist measurement was about 12”, so you reminds gives me hope lol

fox_whale @ishitagupta you’re so welcome ☺️ I love secondhand shopping online, but the only downside is not being able to try stuff on!

martinemilie100 Hello. How tall are you. I am wondering how this skirt would hit me

fox_whale @martinemilie100 Hi! I’m about 5’7” (almost 5’8”). But I have a fairly long torso and shorter legs, so you might want to measure a skirt in person for comparison, or see if you can get a good estimate with a tape measure, just in case ☺️
