1950's Vintage Estevez for Genelle Black Cocktail Dress Cutout Neckline Womens

Beautiful vintage 1950's dress by Cuban American Fashion Designer Luis Estevez Grenelle, known for his dramatic necklines. The hand-made dress made with black raw silk is fully lined and tailored, and features a unique cut-outs around the neckline. Zipper closure in back. The dress has an 'Estevez for Grenelle tag on back, as well as the department store tag 'Jackson-Graves' where it was sold (a high end women's boutique in Minneapolis/St. Paul in the 50's-60's) Dress is in great condition, but some hem stitches on the inside bottom could use reinforcing. Measurements have been taken with the dress laying flat: Top of straps to bottom of dress: 39" Chest: 17.5" Waist: 13.5" Hip: 19" Waistline to bottom of dress: 24"
