"The "GARLAND" hallmark was the trademark used by The Ball Co. of Chicago,Ball purchased the long-established Norris-Alister Company, a wholesale jewelry supplier. The company discontinued their Garland jewelry in 1960 and the watch-side of the company is now operated out of Switzerland.
