1950's/1960's 501 LEVIS Big E

Not sure of exact date but I remember these in my mom's stuff in the mid 60's. And they seemed old at that time. I'm guessing that they are 50's or early 60's that were patched no later than the mid 60's. The back label is crumbling.. no legible size but I'm guessing somewhere between a 32 to 34 around...see photos of approximate measurements. The length is not full length. Could be left alone or snip off fringe to make capris. Tag has large "E" shown in photo. A couple of grease/ink? spots and thread-bare area near patch on left leg. Questions welcomed
