1957 Silver Certificate with Blue Seal & Blue Seal Note Collectible Set

This two-piece collectible currency note set includes a 1957 Silver Certificate with a blue seal and a blue seal Star note. The 1957 Silver Certificate was the last series of Silver Certificates issued by the United States government to be backed by actual silver. Silver Certificates also known as Blue Seals and Blue Seal Notes are still legal tender but since 1968 they have been redeemable only in Federal Reserve Notes and may no longer be exchanged for silver. Star notes are actually replacement notes substituted by the Bureau of Printing and Engraving when a bill is accidentally misprinted or damaged. The notes come in a vinyl folio with an informative mount and certificate of authenticity.
