irvingbueno900 A true "Record" reel would have the word "Record" stamped in the shape of a fish instead of the "Big A" Ambassadeur.

jenselleck83 @irvingbueno900 thanks for the info I wouldn't have a clue. We found it cleaning out my grandmas house and that's what the paperwork said that came with it 🤷🏻‍♀️

irvingbueno900 @jenselleck83 1967 was last year for “4 screw” left side plate, starting @ January 1968 the “3 screw side plate” era began. I do not consider myself an expert but I do know a bit as I own two Record reels and a few ABU (August Bergstrom Urfabriken) Ambassadeur reels. Do you have literature, case spare parts tube, oiler, small wrench? Maybe the original handle that came with the reel?
