This vintage covered candy dish was made by Imperial Glass. First made in 1960s in Bellaire, OH #972 covered candy 3-toed dish in Imperial's verde green. This large butter/candy dish was the only reproduced piece by Indiana Tumbler and Goblet Co, located in Greentown, Indiana aka Greentown Glass 1894-1903. To differentiate from the original Dewey is in the leaves at the base of the finial. If the leaf tip on the right is pointed up then it is a reproduction. This piece has the leaf pointed up on the right and is made by Imperial Glass. Measures 6" T x 7" in dia with a 5" opening, lid 4" T x 5" rim. In excellent condition with only a small burst bubble at the rim of the bottom (see photo) and is considered a manufacture flaw. Not really a chip but is rough to the feel. This candy dish is still a wonderful collectible made in the 1960s. Weight 2 lb.
