1960 Indian Beadcraft KIT Beadwork Native American Vintage Artwork Crafter Beads

1960 copyright Walco, New York, NY, INDIAN BEADCRAFT kit. The package says “A practical, enjoyable handicraft for boys and girls. Includes materials and instructions for making genuine Indian beaded belts, headbands, bracelets, necklaces, fobs, and rings, etc”. The original box has beautiful graphics and is in really wonderful condition for its age. The cellophane in the center of the box lid is no longer intact. 64 year old cellophane was never meant to last that long. The original paper lid is just gorgeous with vivid, colorful graphics. Inside the box is a loom, row of 10 beaded tubes, plus an extra tube of beads, thorough instructions, thread, needles, and wires in order to make various things. Also includes what they call “ a valuable Indian beaded wrist strap, that is ready to attach” to your bead work. On the back of the instruction sheet is basic bead design paper, actual bead work size, and has a small area of writing on it, which was the original owners pattern. Although the kit has been gently used, there are additions that were not in the original kit, such as an extra roll of bead thread, a number of bead needles, and one additional glass bead tube of extra multicolored seed beads.
