This is a really pretty brooch, and was made in the late 60's to early 70's, and signed Gerry's on the back. The elegant wreath has both smooth and stippled leaves intermingled with blue-green rhinestones, and uses a locking c-clasp. This brooch appears to show minimal wear, and is in very good vintage condition.
The history of Gerry’s Creations began with Geraldine Giles in 1950. As established in the peak of the popularity of costume jewelry, Gerry’s Creations stayed on the market for more than 40 years. The main direction, familiar to most collectors of this brand, were Christmas brooches, many of which are included in the costume jewelry catalogs. Gerry’s closed their doors in 1996.
This is in very good vintage condition and clean, coming from a pre-owned and well-loved home. Please examine the images carefully as they are part of the item description. All goods are sold as is/as described due to the nature of being vintage or hand made. Unless noted, all items are in wearable condition.
