Newsweek/Mondadori, New York, 1968. Book condition: good Dust jacket condition: Near Fine. A volume in the Great Museums of the World series. Book is 11-1/2" x 9-1/4", 172 pages; the very secure binding is red padded leatherette with an alligator-style texture, gilt lettering on spine only. Interior is pristine: it is completely free of writing, stray marks, stains and page damage of any sort. Like all the books in this series, this one is lavishly illustrated with color photos of paintings and other items in the museum's collection. There is a 4-page history of the collection and a floor plan of the museum. The jacket has mild wear from contact with other books in the series on the seam the sheen is worn in some spots but there is no color damage whatever.
