This beautiful vintage Navajo-made sterling silver pendant features a striking 3-dimensional butterfly motif. Adorned with intricate decorative stampings and delicate, curved antennae, the pendant showcases a bezel-set elongated oval onyx stone at its center, adding elegance to the design. Originally a pin, it was expertly converted into a pendant by a Navajo artist in Scottsdale, AZ, who added a shepherdβs hook and removed the pin mechanism. As is common with vintage Native American jewelry, there are no hallmark stampings. Measuring just over 2.25β in height and 2β in width, this piece weighs 15 grams and makes a bold statement.
PLEASE NOTE: the 6mm sterling silver burnished beads by Marilyn Platero are NOT included in this purchase.
