1960s Purple Velour 2-Piece Jacket/Pant Set by Bernice Lang - Prince/Purple Rain

This incredible vintage 2-piece purple velour jacket and pant set was made in the 60s by Bernice Lang New York. I think it could be worn like a suit or as 2-piece loungewear if you prefer. Everyone who sees it says that it gives total Purple Rain/Prince vibes, although it was made way before His Purple Majesty ever became famous. There are no fabric labels, but the fabric is purple velour with white satin trim, 3 white satin buttons up the the front, and a white satin button on each sleeve cuff. The jacket buttons in the front and has 2 front pockets. The pants pulls up with elastic at the waist. This 2-piece set is in excellent vintage condition. The only issue I can find is that part of the hem on the jacket and part of the hem on one of the pant legs are being held with internal safety pins. You can't see them on the outside, but you can see them when you look on the inside of the jacket and one pant leg. This pant set is missing the size tag, but I think it would fit a size 4-6 and maybe an 8. My dress form is a size 4-6 and the pant set fits it great with a bit of room to spare. Please review the below measurements carefully. They were taken on the front of the jacket and pants with both laid flat.
