curatorscafe hi:) this is a super soft suede I think? The type that changes color slightly depending on how you run your hand over it? (But not a brushed suede)Trying to replace a much loved car coat from college:) This looks pretty close. Thanks in advance for reply:)

farrahfawcett @beverlyaw14 Hi Beverly, Soft & flexible. Definitely not a bulky suede, nor is it any sort of ultra-suede. I will pull it out later to double check the knap when “petting”, lol and lyk. Its been awhile. Totally get that thing when trying to replace a beloved vintage item.

farrahfawcett @beverlyaw14 Yup you are correctomundo. It is butter soft. Not hardly, or it does just barely change when you run your hand across. Not a brushed suede. Photos are difficult with something like this.
