1960s Vogue Hard Body Leather Clutch/Purse Pocketbook w/ Metal Chain- Vintage

This rare hard body vintage leather Vogue purse is one of a kind. It was called a pocketbook when it was made. It has a gold chain that can be tucked inside and it can be carried as a clutch. It look fantastic to have been made back in the 1950s. A rare find for a seventy year old purse. The lining is black grosgrain. There is slight tarnish on the flat joint connecting the purse and chain, which is expected of a bag of its age. It reveals the purse true age. Approximately 10" L x "6 H x 1" W Very clean, the original owner pampered it. NOTE: Over sixty years ago you couldn't just walk in the store and buy this bag. This bag had to be ordered from a high-end designer store very much like Hermes are ordered today. Each bag is exclusively made for the client.
