1960s White Plastic and Gold Colored Metal Clip Back Earrings - in the 1960s Plastic was a fairly new material that was trendy. Plastic began to be used in new ways in the 1960s including in the use in jewelry. These earrings date from the 1960s and feature oval and round solid plastic white dots set on a gold colored metal clip back. Unlike modern jewelry, the plastic in these earrings are molded solid material like a stone. They are in very good condition and measure approximately 1” in height and 5/8”in width (see pictures for more details).
