1960’s Vintage "Winkleman's Exclusive" Faux Fur Coat By Borgana — Styled by Fairmoor Borgana Furs (1956-1967) was "the big deal" in luxury outerwear in the 50's and 60's. In the 1950's, if a woman did not own a mink coat, she owned a Borgana Fur (a new fur like blend of Orlon and Dynel, quite luxurious, light and very warm). It is so soft, warm, luxurious, and stylish. You will feel like a star in this coat. This distinctive 1960's designed Borg Deluxe Coat was a top-of-the-line coat by Borgana, made from dark chocolate brown and black faux fur. It is long with a satin lining lamb-designed accents, and intricate roping. This jacket was made by Borgana to be sold at better fur stores, and in this case the famous Winkleman's. Original Borgana "Borg Deluxe" interior label with care instructions: "Clean This Fabric By Fur Coat Method." "Do not brush, card, press or steam." The coat appears to have been worn very little and very gently. The quality heavyweight satin lining is in very good shape, as is the exterior of the coat. There are however two defects with one being quite notable: The Winkleman's tag is missing the left half of the stitching that holds it to the lining and the middle knot that holds the coat closed is missing.
