1960s navy blue stocking boots thigh high gogo boots by Golo size 8 8.5

So with the advent of the *total look* from courreges and France and Rudi Gernreich in the states, the boot makers were right behind them with these stocking boots! Golo made them in a bunch of styles and fabrics, but I believe these Lycra ones came in 1969. The style was super well documented and all the editorials in the first pic feature Golo boots dating 1967-69, in Vogue, Harpers bizarre, and Town and Country. Very well documented!! I have a pair of these in my personal collection and they are fantastic, comfortable and surprisingly easy to wear with a mini or a cute coat like the pics suggest. They are almost compressive so they stay up! This pair is a rich navy blue with a Lycra blend upper that goes ALL the way up the thigh, with a leather toe, heel, and sole. Fabric retains is stretch Marked size 8.5, I’m a 9 and I would say these are probably best for an 8, or an 8.5 with no sock. Very good condition. The soles look barely worn. There is a one inch repair near the top of one boots, it’s hard to see without looking.
