1969 Gunne Sax by Jessica McClintock Black Label Floral Prairie Dress

Dark Gunne Alert!! My loss is your gain on this one. I pulled this from the abandoned Clay County, Illinois Jailhouse with high hopes for her but after 10 washes to clean her and finally seeing her all dry I was sad to see the severity of the fading on the right side of the garment due to all of her years sitting in a closet. The zip closure sleeves were very weak but have since been reinforced by me. Features a front apron detail, roomy bust corset area, back zip and hook & eyelet closure. Very light and sheer material. 65% polyester and 35% cotton. Fading pictured. The name ‘Ruth’ is written on the back of the white tag. Lots of history in this one. Marked as a vintage 9 but measured as follows.
