Salamander Shoes Mid-century Vintage Circa 1969 Genuine Quality Leather Black Heels with a mock "Buckle" square accent Made in Italy Imported from Germany Purchased from the Salamander Shoe Store in Cleveland Ohio on May 9, 1969. Original box and receipt included. The total of $14.87 in 1969 would equal about $120 by today's inflation. Great vintage used condition, structurally they are perfect, exterior has only a couple minor marks as shown. They do need new insoles. You can just slip in a pair of memory foam or gel insoles and be good to go! Vintage German sizing is tricky. The 6F is more like a US 9 - CHECK ACTUAL MEASUREMENTS! Taken from the sole: heel to toe tip: 10.25" pad width: 3.25" heel height: 1.75" The Salamander brand was patented in 1904 in Germany.
