1970s Girl's Fabulous Colorful Cotton Tiered Summer Skirt with

Unusual vintage tiered girl's summer skirt with shirred elastic waist is three colors in a tiny floral pattern. The brightly colored skirt consists of red / blue/ yellow ruffled layers. The top red part is the widest and has a 2 1/2 shirred, elasticized waistband. Without stretching it fits a 16 " waist, and will stretch to another 2 inches to fit an 18" waist. The length from top of waist to bottom hem is 12 inches. The elastic is still in excellent condition. There is still a label attached, marking the manufacturer's name - Her Majesty brand - made in USA of 35% percent cotton/ 65% polyester. It washed beautifully because of the fiber content. This skirt was worn by my daughter back in the 1970's and was carefully packed away all these years, so it is in excellent vintage condition. It's a unique, very pretty and colorful little skirt that would be a beautiful, vintage addition to a little girl's warm-weather wardrobe.
