1970s Gunne Sax Cotton Lace and Teal Velvet Dress

1970's Gunne Sax, Jessica McClintock Renaissance revival dress with Dark Teal Velvet accents and crochet lace sleeves. Full length and elaborate 1970s Gunne Sax cotton lace and teal velvet dress. This is a one of the more expensive medieval inspired gowns designed by Jessica McClintock which dates from the middle of the decade. It is in an unbleached poplin cotton with velveteen teal inserts encompassing the waistband, deep V neck, front apron panel and tapered, zip up cuffs. The dress has been adorned with two types of crochet lace on the belt and some of the trims in the teal, the back of the yolk and then there is a cobweb style lace for the sheer sleeves.
