Vintage 1970’s RARE Castlecliff Horseshoe Nail Aztec Sunburst Necklace Bohemian

1970s Lawrence Vrba Design for Castlecliff Jewelry, NYC. Very rare and desirable 1970’s couture is an investment piece. Castlecliff insignia pictured on back of sunburst. The necklace is composed of gold tone horseshoe nails arranged in a sunburst slice, emanating from a lime green sugarloaf cabochon. The sunburst dangles freely from the primary cabochon, and is adorned with three orange and green cabochons. The metalwork in the chain and the sunburst are reminiscent of the designs found in antique Iberian jewelry.
