1970s Ruth Matthews Wool Vintage Jacket

Brown wool 1970's jacket by Ruth Matthews. She created many of the clothes Pat Nixon wore during her husband's presidential campaign. Her clothes were sold only in her own four shops called Matthews in Beverly Hills on Rodeo Drive, Palm Springs, New York and Chicago. Prices of coats ranged from $169 to $5700, of suits from $195 to $795, very expensive for the 70's. Slant pockets w/ decorative buttons on the front. Single button cuffs. Lined.
