1970s Vintage Sweater, Ellessee Luxury Sportswear Made in Italy

1970s Ellesse sweater, made in Italy and 75% wool, 25% alpaca. This Sweater feels luxurious. It is thick but comfortable, not too scratchy and in great shape. There is no known damage to this sweater and it has a very classic look that lends itself well to either a 1970s look, something modern, or a rockabilly 1950's styled look. Only thing to note with this sweater is that it has some pet hair on it. I will be doing my best to remove what I can, but just a warning to anyone interested, it holds on to pet hair. Measurements are taken flat and in inches. The tag says 16W, 40M, I would say this sweater is a M/S. pit to pit: 21 shoulder to shoulder: 20' length neck to hem: 21 Waist: 20 Arm (shoulder to cuff): 20' Ellesse is a European sportswear brand known for their ski clothes and success in the 1980s and 90s. During the 1970s, the creator, Leonardo Servadio, wanted to embrace the idea of glam and sex appeal. Sweaters like this were worn by some of the top Skiers and football players around Italy, and The Ellesse Calendar Girl was born!
