1970s-80s Signed Les Bernard Asian Beaded Necklace Handmade Cream Red Black

This Asian style necklace, by Les Bernard, likely hails from the 1970's to 1980's era. It is made of wood and other natural beads strung on hand knotted silk or satin cord. Add this beauty to your jewelry box today! The necklace is in excellent vintage condition with light age/use related wear. The painted beads are vibrant and in good shape, though one has a rough spot which I think is the wood below rather than the paint itself. It hangs nicely when worn with the weight of the beads pulling the cord taught. I have not cleaned or touched it up in any way. There is a barrel clasp in good order. It measures approximately 21" around with the black beads at about 0.50" wide.
