Gorham Silver was founded in Providence, Rhode Island in 1831 by Jabez Gorham in partnership with Henry L. Webster. In 1905 they opened a sales office on Fifth Avenue in New York City that was designed by the very famous architect Sanford White. In 1967 the company was purchased by Textron. Gorham was owned by Brown Forman Corporation from 1991 to 2003. It was then sold to Department 56 in the Lenox holding transaction.
A wonderful Snowflake to own to wear as a necklace, or simply remove your ribbon or chain and add it to your tree.
