1980s Papell Boutique ladies Black Beaded Evening Jacket Holiday Designer

This vintage beaded jacket is a Papell Boutique Evening jacket made in India. See photos for label with fabric content. The fabric has the feel of velvet The tag says it is a size L but it seems like more of a M in today’s sizing standards. The back width from pit to pit is 23” and the sleeve length from shoulder to hem is 23”. The back length is 21”. The jacket has one hook closure at the top and no other closures. The beadwork is a mix of muted gold and plum. The gold almost looks like a brass color, not a shiny gold. Message me with questions.
