About Giuseppe Armani: Giuseppe Armani was born in Calci, Italy in 1935 and started drawing as soon as he could hold a pencil. His parents recognizing his talents at an early age put him into the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence. However his education in fine arts was abruptly stopped when his father died, leaving him to take care of the family. He continued his artistic talents by sculpting pictures, especially of the human anatomy. This is where his talents were admired and recognized leading him into a permanent job in an Art Gallery in Pisa. Admirers from all over the world came to see Armani’s masterpieces. His love for sculpting continued especially in creating figurines which all show a spark for life, magic, and a realism.
