This is a pattern leaflet with charts and instructions, not a kit! Materials are supplied for each design. This item is pre-owned and has been in storage for many years. There is some yellowing of the pages and it appears that it may have gotten damp and dried at some point but there is no damage significant enough to diminish its usefulness. With these vintage leaflets there is often an odor that comes from years of storage. While it isn't bothersome to me, you may experience it differently if you are particularly sensitive.
