1993 Metropolitan Museum of Art MMA Jonquil White Bisque Parian Pitcher

Rare find: Hard to come by. This license reproduction vintage Jonquil pitcher was manufactured in 1993 for the Metropolitan Museum of Art. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or damage. 8.5 inches tall, Made in Mexico, label still on the base. Parian ware, as this is called, is an unglazed porcelain resembling Parian marble, a process developed by the Copeland factory in 1840s then later introduced to the Bennington factory in Vermont. This is an amazing piece to display as art in your home. Non-smoking pet free home.
