19th Century 1860s Vintage Birdseye Maple RL Monogram Initialed Letter Opener

This dates back to the 1860s or 1870s, and appears to be made of birdseye maple. It was custom made for my great great great grandfather in New Jersey, who was a first generation Scottish immigrant. Excellent structural, functional, and aesthetic condition, with no conspicuous flaws, blemishes, or restorations. Sold as pictured.
