This large “Poissonniere” (or fish pot) was crafted in France, circa 1870-1920. Made out of stainless steel with large forged handles, this rustic kitchen essential has the original removable zinc liner, and could still be used for fish cooking. The kettle pot is in excellent condition with a rich, patinated polished finish. This sturdy, versatile, traditional piece could also be used as a decorative flower jardinière center piece, or simply displayed on top of kitchen cabinets. Makers stamp says “50” and “France” on the bottom.
