Have you ever thought, "what if engineered garments were Italian and took cues from Militaria?" Great news, friend: this 1st PAT-RN piece is exactly that! Made from a beefy navy twill with tonal stitching this is the kind of fabric that wears hard and looks better for it. The detailing is all about utility, from the functional cuffs with only one button, the big patch pockets, the covered chest pocket with pen slots, and my favorite, something like a kangaroo game pocket across the back. It also features taped seams (the fabric taping, not the waterproof taping) and good pocket bag material. It is unlined, perfect for a nice spring day.
This is catch and release for me from The Auction Site Not To Be Named, sadly an L is just a little too trim in the shoulders for me. I'm glad I learned this via second hand purchase, cuz this stuff ain't cheap and it ain't easy to find on the used market. I'm probably devaluing the whole enterprise by selling this low.

may I suggest you post the measurements because we can't try this on before buying, but many of us know what fits us best by taking our favorite fitting piece of clothing and measuring the pit-to-pit, the shoulder width, the sleeve length and the overall length as measured from the back. This one is described by you as being too narrow in the shoulders. A trim fit. It's made in Italy and their clothing isn't measured the same as ours in the USA. 40R is an abstract term.

@cdschroeder123 I believe you should buy clothes on vibes instead of measurements, but here you go:
p2p: 23"
shoulder: 18"
sleeve from seam: 25"
body length: from base of collar: 28"

Also should be noted that it wears tighter at a 23" p2p than other jackets i own with smaller measurements.
