2 vintage paper packs of straight pins (with pins intact - NOT rusted) + 1 box of pins (the pins are loose in the box with no way of knowing if they are the original pins or not - but I'm including it, even though it is in rough shape, for the advertising interest) All together, this is over 700 pins 1) Folded Paper pack - tan paper "S.C. The Puritan Superior to All Others The Acme of Perfection in Pins Made only by The American Pin Co. Waterbury, Conn. This Paper contains 360 pins" (see photos - only a couple seem to be missing) with black and white art nouveau-inspired advertising Some discoloration and one small tear that I see 2) Folded Paper pack - green paper "Oakville Company's Brass Wire 324 Sovran Pins SC with Perfect Points and Solid Heads Made in U.S.A. Oakville Company Division Scovill Manufacturing Company Waterbury, Connecticut 324 pins" (see photos - they all seem to be here) with dark green, ornate, Victorian looking advertisement Some discoloration 3) Blue box - tattered "Puritan Brass Rustproof Dressmakers Pins 2 oz - No 17" inside is just a bunch of loose pins - many different kinds, so I think the original person just used the box to hold ANY of her pins
