Selling two packs of 20 sheets each of late 1940s / very early 1950s German made, Erzgebirge themed, gift wrapping paper (Total 40 sheets.) in new condition. Discovered in the attic of an old warehouse in Leipzig, Germany. This lovely paper is 18" by 24" sheets in original packaging. Paper is folded in quarters. Printed in the old Eastern sector right after world War II as the Russians were attempting to bring economic life back to their part of war ravaged Germany. This charming paper is decorated with classic Erzgebirge motifs of wooden angel and miner candle holders, stars, holly leaves, fir twigs and tiny Christmas roses.
