2 Rare Chinese inside reverse hand painted glass beads, Crane Birds

Crane Birds flying & sitting 1 set = 2 Beads These beads are made using the traditional Chinese Inside Painting technique. To paint the inside of the bead, the artist must paint backwards using an extremely fine paintbrush. Concentration is crucial to make precise strokes due to the limited space.  These 2 uniquely handpainted beads were created some years ago in the 1970s or earlier in China. Amazing how such a small bead has fine detail. Artisans who can do this type of work have become scarce to extinct in China today and these little works of art are rare, no longer being made and if so not the same way? Beads are of outer clear glass with handpainted design details on a slightly frosted translucent white inside. Made by hand so no two are exactly alike and they may have slight irregularities. "Approximate" Measurements: Beads 18mm Beading Hole 4mm Note: Measuring tools in photos are in inches & cm that I have converted into details with mm. In photos looking in from a bead hole you can see the true handpainted detail inside. In a Measurement photo I have a couple stick pins, not to confuse with bead to keep from moving and to show more accurate sizing. You get exactly the same 2 beads as shown in photos above. *Not Included are the Ruler Measurements Tool. *Note of Caution- Do Not submerge or wash the bead as the paint inside the bead may NOT be waterproof, and may be washed away as well?
