crystaldunnigan Our anniversary is next month and my husband and I have been talking about going out to paso for a long weekend. Do you have a favorite winery? Can you recommend some good places to stop? We also heard there's some good olive oil places and he was interested in stopping for mead. Have you done anything like that? We're about three hours from Avila in Tehachapi.

mareswares @crystaldunnigan When are you going? I am actually going tentatively for a few days the second week of May. I can mail you a winery guide which is very helpful with hours, details about the wineries like if they have picnic areas, etc. Since covid, some wineries require advance reservations. Best to go during the week and avoid the weekends is you have the option. I have never done mead tasting...sounds interesting.
