2003 Blenko 384 Water Bottle Decanter Double Spout Pitcher Amethyst

Blenko family owned and operated since 1893, The Blenko Glass Company has been located in Milton, West Virginia since 1921 creating hand-blown glass in gorgeous colors and designs. In 1938, the Blenko Water Bottle shape first appeared and was designed to fit the narrow door shelves of the somewhat new "electric icebox" aka refrigerator. The number 384 indicates that it was the fourth design introduced that year and it has been produced by Blenko in their factory almost continuously since the onset. The narrow shape with the two pouring spouts and center indentation makes it easy to handle. Can be used as a water bottle, decanter, pitcher, a vase for flowers or simply to be admired. With the original Blenko Handcraft Made in USA clear sticker still attached and two Blenko 2003 marks located on the bottom, this collectible glass piece is in excellent condition. *Holds 36 fluid ounces
