@rmmoret03 I measured from the armpit to the floor and it was 48 inches. I thought that was the most accurate way to measure since it sits off the shoulder!

so how many inches is the hem? I would need it to be at least 3 inches so I can take out the current hem and add a few more inches -

@rmmoret03 looking at the gown, there are not 3 additional inches to be let down. It would most likely be too short on you.
My mother wore this. She is 5’3” and she wore a 2 inch heel, and it was brushing the floor.
