floydtrail @gearheadgirl50 it sorta like a first day cover. Back then you send your name & address to the USPS for first day covers. When a new stamp was started on a specific day the post office would go through the list and mail out an envelope to each person on the list with the new stamp. They were the first day covers. Well that is what these are. Hope that helps. These are worth a little more than just the price of the stamp.
