I know this is a silly question but how are you sure this is a Montana sapphire not just a blue topaz or ...? Love it but I would need to have it reset. Just making sure the stone is truly from Montana.

@summer_denton It was professionally tested with a GemOro Testerossa Diamond, Moissanite & Sapphire Tester. Also Sapphires are clear translucent Precious Gemstones with a hardness of 9 (only diamond and moissanite are harder at 9.5-10).
Topaz is a non-precious nesosilicate mineral. Topaz hardness is only 7.5-8 on Mohs scale. Topaz has a yellow & Brown undertone with impurities.

@summer_denton The GemOro only reads Diamonds, Sapphires & Moissanite stones. A Topaz won't read as anything on it. The jeweler told me only Montana Sapphires come in the unique shade of light pastel blue or blue green. Could it be Burmese, Sri Lankan Sapphire maybe but the jeweler said he believed it is a Montana Sapphire.

@summer_denton Yes I completely understand. I've seen way too many fake listings especially with Louis Vuitton, Chanel & Gucci. When i see those & they're listed as new & priced under $500 because they won't be made to be "Poshmark Authenticated" I know they're fake & to stay clear. Anyway let me know either way.
