A beautiful handmade Spanish ceramic plate. It is a one of a kind, hand-painted art, made using the intricate Cuerda Seca dry cord technique. Cuerda Seca is a process where the design is intricately hand painted with enamels and multiple firings which create the embossed relief surface. The writing on the back says "Pintado a Mano, Oro de Ley“ which means Hand made, and fine 24 karat gold. Made in Triana Sevilla Espana. Measures 6 inches in diameter (15cm) and is in very good condition with no chips. It was made with a hanger in the back, to hang on the wall, or it would look lovely on a display table or cabinet.
