2/$75 MCM enamel on copper vintage swirl pattern ashtrays - set of two Stunning!

Vintage swirl pattern enamel on copper handmade ashtrays. Beautiful quality pieces, each signed on the back. The design on each is similar, the style the same with three v-shaped notches - but the signatures are different. Both signatures have ‘R’ as second initial - perhaps married enamel artists or two generations? See photos. These would be a beautiful addition to a mid century modern home. These came to me from a wealthy friend that lived in L.A. and only purchased top quality items. Very classy lady. Based on her age, I’m sure she bought these in their hey day - early 60s. Set of two. Large is 5-3/4”, smaller is 4-3/4”. Great vintage condition. Circa 60s. The smaller (green and gold) is in near perfect condition. I took extra photos to show quality and design. There is crazing, but this is a heavy well made art piece, and the enamel is smooth throughout. The larger, which is blue and gold tones, has damage in the center where an area smaller than a dime, of the enamel was cracked and you can see the copper.
