2-Vintage IVV “Glacier” Italian Textured Art Glass 10k Gold Trimmed Bowls •Gorgeous enough to be displayed as art work on a mantle, shelving or a coffee table, yet made tough enough to be used for serving. These glass bowls are vintage & were hand made in Tuscany at Industria Vetraria Valdarnese by Italian master artisan glass makers. IVV began in 1952. The glass was textured to give the appearance of ice hence, the design name “Glacier”. Glass is smooth on inside, yet textured on outside. The 10k gold is then hand applied around the rim •As serving dishes, these bowls can be used for salad/sides on the dinner table or candy/nuts on side tables •Measures approximately 9” at widest on the uneven shape. It can vary due to the area measured. All pieces are heavy with substantial weight, bundling may not be possible, esp with other IVV pieces •In great vintage condition, can expect some minor loss of gold & surface scratching due to age & use. It is not noticeable unless really searching for. Any occasional tiny air bubbles seen are from the way these pieces were created. One bowl has a tiny crack believe inside glass only, can’t feel it on surface. An air bubble is above crack, both much smaller than dime in photo for reference •NOT to be put in oven, dishwasher or microwave.
