3" Ammonite Opalized with Leafy Suture Patterns

Gorgeous "blonde" translucent coloring with white patterns and red opal! 110 million year old fossil Ammonite, Cleoniceras spp. As it grew, it created a complex fractal 3-dimensional shape marking the intersection of the septum walls with the shell. They are related to the Nautilus (cephalopod), but went extinct with the dinosaurs. This one is especially hard for me to pass on, but it's ready to float around :-) This ancient, intelligence encourages longevity and I get a feeling of revealing things hidden.
