3 DANSK DESIGNS Champagne-Sherbet Crystal Glasses / Early 70’s / Made In France

Founded in 1954 by Jens Quistgaard, a Danish sculptor and designer, Dansk brought Scandinavian design to the American and World market. The company's designs were known for their simplicity and focus on function over decoration which helped cement the popularity of Mid Century Modern. Although headquartered in Denmark, many of Dansk’s finest products were made in France and feature the Dansk Designs France IHQ logo. These three crystal champagne/sherbet glasses are in the Carla pattern which was only produced from 1970-1973. Each measures 5 1/8 inches tall by 4 1/2 inches wide and are in very good used condition with just some light wear. Only one has the acid etched Dansk logo left on the bottom (see photo).
