momgaroo @elianemns yes ma’am they come with hemp inserts 4 layers. They are fitted, not waterproof. But I also sell diaper covers solid colors and printed in case you are interested. I have some as seconds but I haven’t post them yet, lol

momgaroo For hemp diapers the hemp fabric takes a little bit to get soft , some people washes them many times, but it’s mostly about wash them and dry, to let the fibers to open better. This will happen over the time so there is no hurry to try to do it in one day.

momgaroo I will suggest to let the inserts get soaked in the washer machine, don’t start it yet and let them soak if you want to use some fabric softener that’s ok, but I have done this only with the water and my favorite laundry detergent, all of them work, any brand, from the cheapest to the most expensive, so just pick any laundry detergent, let them soak for 3 hrs or so and then wash them normal and you can dry them in the dryer. 🙂
